Cancellation Policy

At Glebe Hill Dental, we value your time and are committed to providing the highest standard of care to all our patients. To ensure our schedule runs smoothly and that other patients have access to timely appointments, we ask for your cooperation with our cancellation policy.

Appointment Cancellations & Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we require at least 24 hours’ notice. This allows us to offer the appointment time to another patient who may be in need of care.

Cancellation Fees & Deposits

  • A $50 cancellation fee applies if you fail to attend your appointment or provide less than 24 hours’ notice.
  • For appointments longer than 60 minutes, the cancellation fee will be $100 or more, depending on the length and type of appointment booked.
  • If a deposit has been paid for your appointment, it will be forfeited if you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice or fail to attend.

Appointment Reminders & Confirmation

To help you keep track of your appointments, we send multiple reminders via SMS and email in the lead-up to your visit. This means there is plenty of notice to plan ahead or contact us if you need to make changes.

You will receive an SMS confirmation approximately 48 hours prior to your appointment.
Please respond with “yes” or “no” to confirm.
If we do not receive your response and are unable to reach you by 5:00 PM on the day before your appointment, your appointment may be cancelled and offered to another patient.

Please make every effort to notify us as early as possible if you are unable to attend.

Emergency Situations & Compassionate Consideration

We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and we will always consider individual situations with compassion and understanding. However, we kindly ask all patients to be mindful of the significant impact that last-minute cancellations or missed appointments have on our ability to provide timely care to others and on the sustainability of our clinic’s operations.
